Welcome to the growing band of Friends of Stone Music Festival 2011 and thank you for your support.   It was good to talk to you all at the Stone Street Party: and what an excellent start to our campaign. The Council gave us a free stall right on the high street, and the town Mayor Councillor Rob Kenney was one of the first people to sign up as a Friend (Thanks Rob). Also keen to sign on the dotted was County Councillor Phil Jones who as well as his donation has promised us £500 from the local members' initiative fund set up to allow Councils to make donations to worthy causes. We have already been in touch and are filling in the inevitable form.

We are also glad to welcome as a Friend The Official UK Elvis Presley Fan Club, which, is based in Cheadle and I am sure we can call on their organisational expertise in the future.
